I am trained in EMDR Therapy which is an evidence-based, effective therapy to:

*Reduce symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, loss and bereavement, performance anxiety and other difficult life challenges.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a somatic therapy in which the hemispheres of the brain are stimulated using rapid eye movement or other bilateral stimulus. The hypothesis is that when the eyes move this way, as they do in REM sleep, a cross-brain wave pattern is produced that allows a person to both access memories of a trauma and process the emotions surrounding it.

The negative experiences that hold us back from being effective in any area of our lives are like a knot of neural pathways that contain negative beliefs and distressing feelings. EMDR assists in untangling that knot and replacing associated limiting beliefs with beliefs that restore innate vital energy to all aspects of their life.

What Clients Are Saying:

"It's like I was seeing that situation from only one negative camera angle and the therapy helped me get many different perspectives and see the bigger picture."

"It helps me make sense of the many aspects of my life in a new way that feels less emotionally charged and more at peace."

"I still remember the bad situation, but I don't have the same upsetting emotions and physical reactions when I think about it now."
